This is a great rustic looking Christmas card! And….it was designed with the assistance of my husband! The woodgrain embossing folder is one of my favorites for this holiday season! For this card, I used a variety of big shot accessories: the woodgrain embossing folder, delicate doilies die and the oval accent die. The stamp set is called “Christmas Lodge” which actually came out last holiday season! I was excited to see it in the new Stampin’ Up! catalog this year!
I stamped the Christmas Lodge, in early espresso ink, onto a piece of very vanilla cardstock and punched out the image using the 2 1/2″ circle punch. I embellished the card with victoria crochet ribbon, a designer ribbon slide and dazzling details. Here’s a tip when using dazzling details….make sure you put together your entire card first…once your card is together, then add the dazzling details because it takes awhile for it to dry.

Mine too! Love this stamp set! Too bad the Christmas Lodge designer paper isn't around anymore 🙂
You and your hubby do good work together! I was happy to see this stamp set made the full line too! One of my favorites from last year!
