Paper Daisies

Last week I had the opportunity to attend the “Ties that Bind” Quilters Guild.  Several of the members participate in my monthly card classes and were interested in having me conduct a presentation and demonstration at their monthly meeting!  I was honored and excited to have this opportunity!

The Quilters Guild membership is around 30-35 women!  I was challenged to design a card that all 30 women could make without having to wait for supplies and stamp sets to be passed around.  I had been interested in designing something with the paper daisies so I focused on that first.

Next, I focused on a design that would support the use of a
variety of stamp sets.  I used the same design for all 30 cards but I changed up the colors of the ink, the designer series paper and the sentiments used for the stamped images.  I was pretty excited about the design and so were the ladies!

I had a wonderful time and appreciated the opportunity to share what I love with these ladies!

Also, since this was a Quilter’s Guild, I focused my presentation and demonstration on all of the wonderful Stampin’ Up! products which support quilting….products such as:

  • Big Shot Dies
  • Fabric Line
  • Embellishments
  • Punches
  • Ribbon

Many of the ladies were very interested in the Big Shot Die that cuts out fabric (or paper) in the Dresden Design! 🙂
