Back in Plaid

Let’s talk Paper Pumpkin! The November kit was just as fabulous as the October one. This was the first time we had two coordinating kits! You could actually mix and match the stamps and products in the kits to create some fabulous projects! I was too excited to play with the October one so I put everything together before the November one even arrived! The October kit contained materials to create some fun shaker cards and the November kit contained all of the materials to create these adorable little stockings.  Combine the projects from the two kits and you had a fun Christmas card and gift giving idea!  And plaid is my favorite pattern. It has such a warm and cozy look to it. The November kit contained all of the materials to create these 10 stockings.

Super fun! But the creativity did not stop there! I created a variety of different cards with the stamp set and some of the extra materials in the November kit. Of course I added some of my favorite plaid patterned materials as well. The Christmas Around the World Designer Series Paper (DSP) from Stampin’ Up! has some pretty plaid patterns which were perfect for creating these beautiful cards. The sentiments and other images from the exclusive stamp set that came in the kit were just beautiful and fun to play with.

I love creating cards with the traditional red and green colors for Christmas. But when stamping snowflakes, different shades of blue work much better!  For these cards, I used the little snowflake image in the stamp set and my Winter Wonder embossing folder. The kit contained a variety of gold embossed snowflakes so I used the blue and gold theme to create these cards.

Paper Pumpkin has something for everyone. Whether you are new to stamping or are an avid crafter, you will love receiving a box of paper crafting goodness in the mail every month!

Pining for Plaid

Pining for Plaid was the name of the October Paper Pumpkin kit. The kit contained some super fun shaker cards with coordinating plaid lined envelopes!  It was such a popular kit that when Stampin’ Up! put the extras up for sale, they sold out in 30 minutes! WOW! The cards were so pretty and the kit was simple to put together!  Most of the time the projects take less than a half hour to create.

There were lots of extra materials in this kit.  I used all of the little circles that were left over from the centers of the kit cards to create several extra projects. If you cut the circles in half, you can create an adorable little snowman. Leave the circles whole to create some fun ornaments!  You can also use the leftover sequins to embellish your cards!

The November kit coordinates with the October one!  I can’t wait to see the fun projects this month!  Wanna get in on the fun? Subscribe before the 10th of the month at >>> https://mypaperpumpkin.com/?demoid=2092731

Layered Leaves

The September Paper Pumpkin kit was my absolute favorite kit of the year so far! The kit was called Layered Leaves and it has some beautiful note card and gift box projects! 8 of each! As you can see, the kit was all about autumn leaves. The exclusive stamp set had some beautiful leaf images, some of which coordinated with the thinlit dies that are in the annual catalog! How cool is that?

As with all of the kits, I like to play around with the extra materials and stamp set to create even more fun projects!  It seems that each kit I have received has lots of extra materials to play with which makes it so fun and exciting!  I decided to create a variety of different cards using the leftover materials and the stamp set. Of course I added some of my own cardstock and supplies too.  Take a look at these fun additional projects:

I always create additional cards to send to all of my Paper Pumpkin subscribers!  It’s my way of thanking them for being a subscriber as well as providing them with a fun card idea that they can create with their kit!

Giftable Greetings

Do you ever give your handmade cards as gifts? I am always looking for fun and pretty ways to package them up!  I have found that a pack of handmade cards makes the perfect gift!  They are practical and everyone just loves them! Especially if they are handmade!

Well the designer of last month’s Paper Pumpkin kit must have been sneaking around my craft room 🙂  The kit was called Giftable Greetings and it contains all of the materials you needed to create 8 pretty cards plus a pretty little package to put them in! Now you might have noticed that there are quite a few more cards in that picture than 8. Well that’s because I always create many many extra cards using the stamp set and leftover materials in the kit!

I only put about 6 cards with envelopes in the package, mainly because I wanted some extra to send out.  The kit was super fun and now I have a fabulous gift that I am planning on gifting to one of my hostesses this month!

Of course the kit always comes with an exclusive stamp set so that mean more stamping fun! One of my favorite things to do with the Paper Pumpkin kits, besides making the projects, is to create more projects! This time I did a bit of watercoloring and used up some of the extra supplies in my kit:

These pretty little cards were created with the exclusive stamp set that came in the kit! Wanna get in on the fun? New subscribers can try Paper Pumpkin for 50% off! Join before September 10th to take advantage of this deal!

Positively Picturesque

Hello Stampin’ Friends! Happy Friday! Hope you had a wonderful week! Today I want to share some projects created with the July 2017 Paper Pumpkin kit. I have subscribed to this monthly program since it began! Ooops…don’t let my hubby know. 🙂 Just kidding. While I love to create projects from scratch, I also enjoy playing with these monthly kits. I love new ideas and these kits certainly provide me with some great techniques and ideas that I can use when I’m designing other projects from scratch. Plus it’s soooo exciting to receive a surprise package each month!

The July Paper Pumpkin kit was called Positively Picturesque and contained all of the stamps, kit and materials I need to created these 8 different cards!  The cards were fun and simple to put together! Now each kit comes with an exclusive stamp set! It’s exclusive to paper pumpkin subscribers!  Each month I like to put together some alternate projects that showcase the stamp set.  So with each kit I have the opportunity to create something from scratch as well as the fun projects that come in the kit! Cool, hey?

You can join Paper Pumpkin any time before the 10th of the month!

Simply visit >>> http://bit.ly/PaperPumpkinKits  for more information or to join the fun!

Here are all of the additional projects I created with the stamp set and some of the left over materials from the July kit. I simply added my own cardstock. Enjoy!

One in a Melon

Watermelons just remind me of picnics and summer-time fun! And that’s exactly what I thought of when I received this month’s Paper Pumpkin kit.  The kit is super cute!  Watermelon stamp images…Watermelon Bags….Watermelon paper…I had a lot of yummy ideas running through my head! Just look at all of these fun projects!

I just loved the little watermelon bags with the red tissue paper…the tissue paper had little watermelon seeds on it! Super cute! This kit was so fun that I ended up stamping 20 watermelon images and then cutting them out by hand so that I could create some fun alternate designs! Not all of the cards are pictured here as I created several cards as a special surprise for my paper pumpkin subscribers.  They will all get a little bit of summery fun in the mail this week!

One of my favorite things about the monthly kits are the exclusive stamp sets!  The sets allow me to continue to create fun cards like these…I just simply use my own cardstock and supplies. I love the watercolored background with the stamped images.

Whether you are an avid crafter or just beginning, you will enjoy these monthly kits!  It’s the element of surprise that I really enjoy…I never know what the theme of the kit is until it arrives!  To me, that’s half the fun!

Sprinkled with Love

There are some simply adorable projects coming out in the monthly Paper Pumpkin kits.  Last month’s kit was called Sprinkled with Love and contained all of the materials to make 9 cards and coordinating gift bags! They are the perfect little card and gift bag idea when you want to engage in a random act of kindness.  Well, that’s the first thing I thought of when I saw them.  I thought how cute it would be to put a little donut or sweet treat in the bag and give it to someone in this office just to say “thank you for all of your hard work.” Or even just wrap up a sweet treat for the hubby and leave it next to his lunch before I head off to work.

There is something truly special about receiving a little handmade gift. Sometimes it’s the little things that we do that tend to mean so much. The projects in last month’s kit certainly made me think about ways to spread kindness and make someone smile. That’s what I love about these kits.  Every month I complete the projects and then randomly give them to people throughout the day, week, month. There are always lots of smiles, hugs and thank yous which, to me, is one of my favorite things about engaging in random acts of kindness.

The monthly kit program has something for everyone. For the avid crafter, it’s a great way to get ideas. For the new crafter, it’s a great way to get started. Start a new creative journey with the monthly paper pumpkin program!  You will be glad you did!

And right now, if you sign up by June 10, 2017, NEW subscribers can get 25% off their first 3 months! That’s 25% off the regular price of $19.95 applied to one kit per month for the first 3 months of a new subscription!

Bunny Buddies

Hello Stampin’ Friends!  Thought I would share some of the fun projects created with the March 2017 Paper Pumpkin kit called Bunny Buddies!  The kit came with all of the materials you needed to create 9 cards and 9 little bunny treat bags. This was such an adorable little kit! I just loved the colors!

Aren’t they just adorable?  And they were so quick and easy to put together! Did you recognize the colors?  The colors and patterns are from the Playful Palette Designer Series Paper pack. That just made me smile! I quickly grabbed my DSP stack and made even more fun projects with the stamps that were in this kit.
