Delightful Daisies

The delightful little daisies are back!  The daisy punch was soooo popular that it sold out within the first few days of the new catalog launch!  I knew this bundle of products was going to be popular but I never imagined it would be a sell out!  Well I am certainly glad it’s back!  So, of course, I had to share some of the fun daisy projects that I have been working on.

Don’t you just love the rustic feel of these cards?  The daisies seemed to work well with the Wood Textures Designer Series Paper (DSP). So well, that I couldn’t stop making them!

This is definitely my favorite card from the bunch!  I actually used images from both the Daisy  Delight and the Wood Words stamp sets.  Start with  a piece of crumb cake cardstock for the base of the card. Stamp the bunches of flowers, from the Wood Words stamp set, in the upper right and lower left hand corner of the card front using soft suede ink. Next, cut a 1-1/2 x 5-1/2 inch piece of one of the wood textures designer series paper patterns and run it across the center of the card. Stamp a little sentiment just under the wood grain DSP. Punch out 4 white daisies and sponge the center of them with a bit of daffodil delight ink. Adhere two of them together with a few glue dots and then arrange them on your card. For the finishing touch, embellish the daisies with a few gold faceted gems. Enjoy!

Daisy Delight & Color Theory

Are you getting excited about the NEW Stampin’ Up! catalog?  I sure am!  It has been such an exciting week!  I had the opportunity to play with some of the new products and they are just absolutely amazing!  There are two products, in particular, that I have been playing with this week…Daisy Delight and Color Theory Designer Series Paper (DSP). So many fun things that you can do with both of them!  Here’s a sneak peek of a few projects I created…

The cards feature the Daisy Delight stamp set, and coordinating punch, as well as the Color Theory Designer Series Paper.  They were quick and simple to create!  A really love that I can use product suites together as the colors coordinate so well! The new catalogs have been shipped out and I bet many of you have already received them!  If you haven’t received them or would like a catalog, please message me at stamptasticdesigns@gmail.com and I will pop one in the mail to you! You definitely want to get your hands on this catalog!

Daisy Delight

Good Morning and Happy Mother’s Day! I hope that all of you are spending the day celebrating the Moms in your life! We are having our second annual Mother’s Day brunch today!  We started this last year because we decided it’s much more fun and relaxing to be at home with the family than it is to be out at a restaurant for Mother’s Day! Plus homemade food is the best!  I am celebrating with my son, daughter and their families as well as my parents. It will be a fun and yummy afternoon!

Plus, I put together a few of these little Mother’s Day baskets for the celebration today!  You may recall a little video tutorial on this basket that I shared with you around Easter time. Here is the link to the tutorial http://stamptasticdesigns.com/2017/03/23/envelope-punch-board-baskets/

Well, as you can see, the basket works well with Mother’s Day too!  Especially with some NEW Stampin’ Up! products!  Yep, the Daisies are new and they are so fun!  You can use them in so many ways!  My next project will be to create a bouquet of them! I have seen some wonderful projects on Pinterest with bouquets of these Daisies. They are absolutely stunning! And products from the Daisy Suite will be available June 1st!

I hope all of you have a wonderful Mother’s Day celebration! Enjoy the day with family and friends!
