Tie Dyed

Hello Stampin’ Friends!  Hope you had a wonderful week!  Happy Friday!  The Stampin’ Up! Retirement sale is underway and, of course, I am in awe at the amount of items that are retiring!  I am always surprised and a little sad to see some of my favorite products retire.  But that just means that there is more room for some NEW products…which is always exciting!  Well today I want to share a little project I created with a few of the retiring stamp sets in the Occasions Catalog!  If you love the “tie dyed” look then you are gonna love this card.

To make this card, start with a piece of Flirty Flamingo cardstock for the base of the card.  Cut a 5-1/4 x 3-1/2 inch piece of whisper white cardstock. Grab a Styrofoam plate or plastic container and one baby wipe! Yes, a baby wipe! Lay the baby wipe on the plate and randomly drop the following ink colors on the baby wipe:  Flirty Flamingo, Daffodil Delight and Sweet Sugarplum. The baby wipe, with the ink, becomes your ink pad!  Now simply ink up the background stamp by pushing it down into the ink on the baby wipe, then stamp it on your cardstock. Repeat this process for the little heart images. Cut a 5-1/4 x 1 inch piece of Sweet Sugarplum cardstock…gently tear the cardstock in half so you end up with a rough edge and adhere it to the bottom part of the white cardstock. Adhere the entire piece to your card front. Stamp a little t-shirt using the Custom Tee stamp set and adhere to the cards as shown with a few dimensionals. For the finishing touch, embellish with some of the In Color enamel shapes. Enjoy!

Designer Tee

Hello Stampin’ Friends!  Today I want to showcase a fun little bundle of products called Custom Tee and the coordinating Sale-A-Bration stamp set called Designer Tee that you can earn for FREE.  There are soooo many possibilities with this bundle! Of course my favorite sayings are the stamping related ones. I have been busy creating some fun cards, like this, for my new stampin’ team members.”When in doubt, STAMP.”  Love it! Such a great little saying!

Now I used all of the 2016-2018 In Colors on this card but you can choose any color combo you like!  To make this card, start with a piece of Peekaboo Peach for the base of the card. Cut a 5-1/4 x 4 inch piece of Whisper White cardstock. Randomly stamp the phrase “When in Doubt Stamp” all over the background of the card. Alternate ink colors for a fun look! Stamp a few flower images in the background as well. Sponge a bit of Peekaboo Peach in the center of the card as this helps soften the background a bit. Adhere a metallic doily to the right side of the card as shown. Cut or punch out a circle shape from Peekaboo Peach cardstock and adhere it to the center of the doily. On a scrap piece of white cardstock, stamp the tee shirt, decorate it up and cut it out with the coordinating framelit. Adhere it to the center of the circle using a few dimensionals. For the finishing touch, embellish the card with some rhinestones. Enjoy!
