Mixed Medallions Gift Box

Hello Friends!  Today I have a fun little gift box idea that was inspired by the Mixed Medallions Card kit. Yep, I said card kit.

The Mixed Medallions Card Kit is one of this year’s Sale-a-bration items that caught my eye right away. The kit comes with 8 trifold cards. There are two different card designs so you get 4 card bases for each design. I am always looking for fun things to do with kits and as soon as I saw the tri-fold design I knew exactly what I wanted to make…a Gift Box.

By adding a few simple score lines and a few cuts to the card bases, you can easily create an adorable little gift box!

The gift box can be used to package up some small items, candy and even your handmade cards. I was excited to learn that the gift box holds 4-5 standard cards (5-1/2 x 4-1/4 inch size) and envelopes. How cool is that? So you can make a few gift boxes and a make a few cards with this kit, package them up and give them away as a gift. Or make all of the cards into gift boxes and use them to package up your own handmade cards.

It’s super fun and simple! Check out the video tutorial for more info >>> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C-EoWZsZChc

Holiday Treat Pouches

Looking for a quick and simple stocking stuffer?  Well these fun little treat pouches are perfect for the upcoming Christmas season! You can use them for packaging up some sweet treats or for any other small gift! I created my little treat pouches with the Be Merry Designer Series Paper (DSP) but you can use any papers that you have on hand. The possibilities are endless!

I actually put together a few of these for Thanksgiving (using Autumn themed papers of course). They were a fun way to decorate the table especially since I personalized them with everyone’s name! All you need to make these is a 6 x 6 inch piece of your favorite patterned papers.

You won’t believe how easy they are to create! Check out the Facebook live video tutorial below to learn how to create them!

Triple Layer Card

Are you looking for simple, yet, unique card ideas? Well, today I want to share one of those card ideas with all of you. It features a technique that involves stamping images over three different layers of cardstock and then matting out those images. This stamping and matting technique gives the images on your card depth and dimension.

While this is a very simple technique, it’s much easier to teach it to you through a hands on demonstration. So…I have put together a little video tutorial for you! This tutorial provides you will all of the measurements, tips and tricks you need to know to create a Triple Layer Card. Enjoy!
