Sale-a-bration Tag

This is a very simple card to put together!  I used the two tags die to cut out the sentiment piece on this card.  It is decorated with all of the Sale-a-bration items from the everday enchantment collection….which I just loved!  The tag opens up so you can write your message. 🙂

Supplies include:
Early espresso, old olive and calypso coral card stock
Sale-a-bration products:  Everyday enchantment brads and paper
Scalloped oval, modern label and word window punches

Sneak Peek Summer Smooches

Here is a sneak peek at a new product suite through SU called “Summer Smooches.”  This product suite is available to customers through the month of April but will also be featured in the new catalog which will be published in June.

Elements of Style

The ladies enjoyed putting this card together at my April card class.  Such a simple sponging technique over a white emobssed image. I just fell in love with this technique!  It gives your project such an elegant look!

Wisteria Wonder Card Stock and Ink
Elegant Eggplant Ink for the Happy Anniversay Sentiment
Wisteria Wonder ruffled ribbon
Victoria crochet ribbon
Vintage trinkets
White embossing powder, versa mark pad and heat gun

Vintage Birthday

As I may have mentioned in other posts, I love the vintage look on cards!  To get the vintage effects, I embossed a piece of very vanilla card stock with the tulip embossing folder, then sponged it with soft suede. I took some scrap bashful blue card stock and cut out a half of a top note die on the Big Shot embossing machine. Stamped a sentiment and punched it out with the decorative label punch.

Supplies include:
Bashful blue, very vanillia and soft suede card stock
Baja Breeze seam binding ribbon
Victoria Crochet Trim
Vintage trinkets
Attic Boutique Designer Series Paper
Baja Breeze Pleated Ribbon

Spirelli Vintage Birthday

I designed this card for our demo meeting. We were challenged to design something using the spirelli technique. The spirelli technique involves wrapping twine around the scallop blue circle on this card.  This is just one way in which to use the spirelli technique on a card.  I am a vintage girl so I love the look of this card.  I used a variety of scrap pieces of designer series paper from the Beau Chateau collection through SU.

Scrappy Birthday

I had the ladies put this together at my last workshop!  The 3 strips of card stock and designer series paper were actually scraps that I was able to use up (love when I can do that)!  We used the Elements of Style stamp set with night of navy ink on pool party card stock. The designer series paper is called Twitterpatted from the Occasions Mini Catalog.

Father’s Day on the Open Sea

The Open Sea is another great stamp set for designing masculine cards. With Father’s Day right around the corner, this card will definitely come in handy!  🙂

Supplies include:
Old Olive, Very Vanilla and Early Espresso Card Stock
Crumb cake and Soft Suede Ink
Stripes Embossing Folder
Polka Dot Old Olive Ribbon (I actually flipped the ribbon over so you cannot see the polka dots)
Silver brads
Modern Label and Word Window Punches
Teeny Tiny Wishes Stamp Set for the Sentiment
Twitterpatted Designer Series Paper
Linen Thread

Language of Friendship

Spring is finally here!!  YAY!!  This card was designed in honor of spring. 🙂  The Language of Friendship is the stamp set used for the bird and the sentiment. One of the great things about this set is that there is a coordinating bird punch so you don’t have to cut everything out by hand. Bashful blue and very vanilla card stock give this card the soft springy feel along with the flowery twitterpatted designer series paper. This was a hit at my last card class!

Best Dad Ever

This is a great stamp set for designing more masculine types of cards. The stamp set is called “Best Dad Ever” and can be found in the Idea Book & Catalog (page 49).  I colored each tie individually with a variety of colored markers and then stamped the image on confetti cream paper. The designer series paper is called well worn. I also used a variety of card stock:  Bravo Burgundy, Old Olive and Soft Suede. Topped it off with a few silver brads to serve as tie tacks.

This was a fun little card to put together as I was able to use up a few scraps.  The designer series paper and brads are from the Sweet Shop product suite in the Occasions Mini Catalog.  I used lucky limeade cardstock and embossed it with the tulip embossing folder. The sweet shop designer series paper is mounted on bashful blue card stock.  I embossed a small piece of very vanilla card stock with the designer frame then topped it off with a cupcake I cut out of scrap materials. The glittery top to the cupcake came from a few dabs of Dazzling Details.
