Sunflowers for Christmas? Of course! You can create a beautiful Christmas card with the sunflower image in the Painted Harvest stamp set! The image creates a fun little wreath that you can use for just about any occasion. I just love it when I can use a stamp set in a variety of different ways!
To make this card, start with a piece of Cherry Cobbler cardstock for the base of the card. Cut a paper doily in half and tuck it behind a 3 x 4 inch piece of the green speckled pattern from the Be Merry Designer Series Paper (DSP) pack. Adhere to the center of your card front as shown. Cut out a square, from a piece of white cardstock, that measures approximately 2-1/2 x 2-1/2 inches. Note: I used the large square from the Stitched Shapes Framelit set. Then, simply stamp the sunflower image on the square. This image is stamped with Garden Green ink to coordinate with the color in the DSP. You can even use the little dot images in the stamp set to create berries for the wreath! For the finishing touch, embellish with a little bow. Quick and simple, yet very elegant!
