It’s November already! That means Thanksgiving is right around the corner and Christmas will be here before you know it! So I have been busy making Christmas cards with my stampin’ friends. I usually send out around 200 Christmas cards each year so I am always trying to come up with a few different quick and simple card ideas. Like this one.
I love the elegance and simplicity of this card. It features a stamp set called the Feeling of Christmas. Such beautiful images in this set and it’s so simple to use. I started with a piece of whisper white cardstock for the base of the card. I scored it about a 1/4 inch all the way around the card front. I stamped the beautiful wreath image in the center of the card using old olive ink, then I stamped an overlay image, sort of a watercolored image, on the wreath using pear pizzazz ink. This overlay image helps fill in the green color on the wreath. I stamped a few berries using real red ink and the sentiment is stamped in black. For the finishing touch, I embellished it with a little bow and some rhinestones. Super simple yet elegant! I hope you enjoyed it!
