Spooky Cat

It’s October already! That means it’s time for some Halloween fun!  I have been busy creating projects with the Spooky Night Suite from the Stampin’ Up! Holiday catalog. The new cat punch makes creating Halloween cards so fun!  I have been putting a little black cat on almost all of my Halloween cards this year. You will notice the black cat theme in all of these projects…

Besides the fabulous black cat punch, the Spooky Night Suite has a fun stamp set called “Spooky Cat” and some fabulous patterns in the Spooky Night Designer Series Paper (DSP) pack.

The Spooky Night DSP has a variety of Halloween themed patterns in it.  My favorite pattern is the one pictured above. The 3 x 3 inch square in the middle of the card is actually printed in 3 x 3 inch squares on an entire 12 x 12 sheet of DSP.  That means you can get 16 squares, 3 x 3 inches each, to create cards like this one. Each square has a pre-printed moon and tree branch. You can simply cut out the square and add the black cat (like I did) or stamp your images directly onto the DSP. Plus you won’t have any scraps if you cut all of the squares as intended!  Fun stuff!

And of course I had to use the new Lemon Lime Twist cardstock to create at least one Halloween card!  I thought of Halloween as soon as I saw that new In Color!

The Spooky Night Suite certainly has everything you need to create some fun projects! I hope you enjoyed these little Halloween creations!
