A Little Wild ~ Honey Bear

There are soooo many amazing products between the Stampin’ Up! holiday and the annual catalog I can’t decide what to play with first!  A good problem to have! So today I thought I would share an adorable little card that showcases some fun images from the A Little Wild Bundle. This bundle of products has some absolutely adorable baby animal images in it which are perfect for baby cards as well as other fun occasions! I designed a variety of projects with this bundle for my club members but I saved this one to share with all of you! Soooo cute!  I hope you enjoy it!

To make this card, start with a piece of Chocolate Chip cardstock for the base of your card. Cut a 5 – 3-3/4 inch piece of So Saffron cardstock, emboss it with the 3D Ruffled Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder and adhere to the card front. This 3D embossing folder gives the impression of “honey” dripping behind the bear. So cool! Next, cut a 1 x 3-3/4 inch piece of Chocolate Chip cardstock, wrap some linen thread around the left half of this piece, tie a little bow and adhere it across the lower part of the card as shown. The little bear was stamped on a piece of crumb cake cardstock, using Chocolate Chip ink, and cut out with the coordinating framelit.  You can use the layering squares or stitched framelits to cut out a matted focal point for the bear. The bee hive was stamped on a piece of So Saffron cardstock and cut out with the coordinating framelit. Then I just embellished the card with some burlap ribbon and a string of gold sequins. Super cute and fun!
