Fall-Themed Cards

Hello Stampin’ Friends! Sharing a little Halloween fun with you today! This particular card showcases a great way to use the spooky patterns found in the Halloween Night Specialty Designer Series Paper (DSP) pack.  It’s a quick and simple card to create! Plus, you can use this layout over and over again with any patterned paper to create cards for any occasion! How cool is that?

To create this card, cut a piece of basic black cardstock for the base of your card. Cut a 5-1/4 x 2 inch piece of the striped pattern from the Halloween Night DSP pack and adhere it to the left side of your card front. Cut a 2 x 4 inch piece of the “bat” pattern from the DSP pack and a 2-1/4 x 4-1/4 inch piece of basic gray cardstock; adhere these two pieces together (the gray cardstock serves as a matte).  Cut a metallic doily in half and adhere one of the halves to the backside of matted “bats” piece; then adhere the entire piece to your card front be overlapping onto the striped DSP pattern. For the finishing touch, add a little halloween sentiment using your circle punches!

Not into Halloween cards? No problem…you can use this layout  and all of the measurements to create a card for any occasion!  Just change out the pattern paper and the sentiments to create a whole new card like this!
