Jar of Love

Good Morning Stampin’ Friends!  Today I have a fun little card design that showcases one of the fun projects from my World Card Making event this past weekend. This particular project was one of everyone’s favorites…and I didn’t even design it! lol This project was create by my daughter.  Sometimes she just pops in and creates a card within minutes.   This is one of those cards!

To make this card, start with a piece of soft suede cardstock for the base of your card. Cut a 5 1/4 x 3 inch piece of your favorite “Fall” themed designer paper. For this particular card, I used some retired cardstock but I bet the gorgeous patterns in the new Petals & Paisleys Designer Series Paper would be so pretty on this card! Next, cut a 2 1/4 x 4 inch piece of very vanilla cardstock. Stamp the larger jar image on the very vanilla cardstock using soft suede ink. Stamp the leaf images in the jar and the little bow on the outside of the jar using Delightful Dijon ink.  Tuck a little piece of a doily under the very vanilla cardstock and adhere the entire piece to your card as shown. For the finishing touch, add a rectangular tag to the jar with a little sentiment stamped on it. True confessions:  my daughter used the retired ticket punch to create the tag but cutting a 3/4 x 1 1/2 inch piece of very vanilla cardstock works just as well. Enjoy!
