Good Morning Stampin’ Friends! Today I have a pretty little card showcasing the Number of Years stamp set! This is a fun little set from the Annual Stampin’ Up! catalog. This card was created as part of a color challenge…yes, I have been participating in quite a few challenges lately! We were challenged to create a project using this color combination:
The first stamp set that came to my mind was the Number of Years set! I thought the flower images in the set would be the perfect way to showcase these colors. So here’s the project I put together:
What do you think? Fun, hey? To make this card, simply start with a piece of pear pizazz cardstock for the base of your card. Cut a 5-1/2 x 3 inch piece of whisper white cardstock and a 1 x 5-1/2 inch piece of daffodil delight cardstock. Stamp the flowery images from the Number of Years stamp set using the color combination I shared at the beginning of this post. Once you have stamped all of your images on the white cardstock, adhere the strip of daffodil delight behind the bottom of the white cardstock using a bit of snail or other adhesive. Tuck 1/2 of a delicate white paper doily behind the upper left hand side of the white cardstock and adhere the entire piece to your card front. For the finishing touch, add a little elegant butterfly, layered with a bitty butterfly and embellished with a few pearls. Enjoy!
