Good Morning! Today is my birthday! Yay! 🙂 And what better way to celebrate my birthday than to share a fun little birthday card idea with all of you! I have been playing around with different washi tape designs this past week! This particular card was inspired by a few of the washi tape designs that I had seen on Pinterest lately. To make this card, start with a piece of basic black cardstock for the base of your card. Cut a 5 1/4 x 4 inch piece of whisper white cardstock; round the corners with a little corner punch. Stamp a little sentiment from the Birthday Blossoms stamp set in the lower left hand corner of the white cardstock using memento black ink. Run a few pieces of the Everyday Chic Designer Washi Tape across the center of the card. You can either tear the ends to cut them straight…just depends on the look you want for your card. Stamp a few of the flowers from the Birthday Blossoms set, using melon mambo ink. and punch them out with the coordinating pansy punch. Adhere them to the card, as shown, with a few dimensionals. Cut a paper doily into quarters and tuck it under the flowers. For the finishing touch, add a few buttons to embellish! Enjoy!
