Today I have a super simple yet beautiful project to share with all of you! It features one of the gorgeous rose papers the new Timeless Elegance Designer Series Paper (DSP) pack. You are gonna flip when you see how quick and easy this project is! Now you can use any colors you like. I decided to go with pink pirouette but this would turn out just as beautiful with almost any color! Let’s take a look at how to make it!
Start with a piece of pink pirouette cardstock for the base of your card. Cut a 5 1/4 x 4 inch piece of the rose patterned paper from the Timeless Elegance DSP. Grab a sponge or sponge dauber both will work but I find the dauber is easier to use when you want a bit more precise sponging. Sponge some pink pirouette ink all over the petals of the roses on the DSP. Your color will soak into the areas beautifully leaving a subtle black outline of the rose image. Once you have sponged your roses full of color, secure the DSP to your card front using a snail runner or other adhesive. For the finishing touch, stamp a little sentiment on some very vanilla scrap paper and punch it out with some of your favorite shapes. I used the decorative label punch and a beautiful sentiment from the Timeless Love stamp set. Enjoy!
