Are you wild about flowers? Then you will enjoy today’s little project showcasing some of the fun images in the wild about flowers stamp set. You may have noticed that I am drawn to projects with flowers and butterflies. Nature images are just so peaceful and calming.Let’s take a look at how to make this card. Start with a piece of whisper white cardstock for the base of your card. Cut a 5 1/4 x 4 inch piece of wisteria wonder cardstock and emboss it with the new butterfly embossing folder. Adhere the embossed piece to the front of your card base. Cut a 2 3/4 x 5 1/4 inch piece of elegant eggplant cardstock for a matte and a 2 1/2 x 5 1/4 inch piece of whisper white cardstock for stamping on. Grab your white cardstock and stamp some of the flower stems across the bottom of this piece using smoky slate ink. Next, grab the coordinating flower (the one that matches up with the stem/leaf image you chose) and stamp it on top of the stems with wisteria wonder ink. The stamps are photopolymers so you can see exactly where to stamp them allowing you to line up the images almost perfectly! Stamp a little sentiment in the corner using elegant eggplant ink. Adhere the elegant eggplant cardstock behind the white piece with all of your stamped images (the elegant eggplant piece serves as a matte for your project. Adhere to your card front with dimensionals. For the finishing touch, embellish a bitty butterfly with some rhinestones and adhere it to your card with dimensionals. Enjoy!
