Have you seen all of the wonderful projects you can put together with the Build a Birthday stamp set? If you are on pinterest then I am sure you have seen them. This particular set is so versatile! You can create birthday cakes, candles and presents with the images in this set. Simply adorable! For this particular project, I decided to use those rectangular images to create some birthday candles. Let’s take a closer look at how to make this card.
Start with a piece of the watermelon wonder cardstock for the base of your card. Cut a 5 1/4 x 4 inch piece of the Cherry on Top Designer Paper pack. Cut a 3 x 4 inch piece of watermelon wonder cardstock and a 2 3/4 inch x 3 3/4 inch piece of whisper white cardstock. Stamp the rectangle images on your cardstock so they look like candles. I used pool party, bermuda bay and watermelon wonder ink. Stamp the flames using delightful dijon ink. Once you have stamped your images on the white paper matte it out with the 3 x 4 inch piece of watermelon wonder paper and adhere to the center of your card. For the finishing touch, add one of the natural wood elements using a few glue dots. Enjoy!
