Good Morning! Happy Monday! Need a card in a hurry? I have a beautiful, yet simple little card idea to share with you today! This card features the beautiful Painted Blooms Designer Series Paper (DSP), a bit of ribbon, a sentiment and, of course, an embellishment. Let’s take a closer look at how to put this card together!
To make this card, start with a piece of blackberry bliss cardstock for the base of your card. Cut a 5 1/4 x 4 inch piece of whisper white cardstock. Stamp a fun sentiment in the upper right hand corner of the white cardstock using blackberry bliss ink. Cut a 2 x 4 inch piece of one of the pretty patterned papers in the Painted Blooms DSP pack….secure this piece to the bottom of the white cardstock. Run a piece of ribbon across the white cardstock so it overlaps a bit on the DSP. I actually used 2 different sized ribbons on this card, from the Artisan Embellishment kit, but you can simply use one. Cut your ribbon long enough so that you can wrap it around to the back of the white cardstock…secure this piece to your blackberry bliss card base. For the finishing touch, add a little butterfly or flower embellished with pearls. Easy peasy, right? Enjoy!
