Hey Valentine! Here’s another fun little project using those tiny treat boxes. In case you didn’t notice, you get 25 little treat boxes in each pack! And there are lots of fun little holidays coming up that you could put these treat boxes to good use! You know, holidays such as Valentine’s Day, St. Patrick’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day…well, you get the idea. The great thing about these little treat boxes is that you can decorate them anyway you like!
So let’s take a closer look at this project. For the card, I started with a piece of crisp cantaloupe cardstock for the base of the card. Cut a 5 1/4 x 4 inch piece of whisper white cardstock and emboss it with the Happy Hearts embossing folder. Cut a few coordinating pieces of designer paper, from the Stacked with Love pack, at 4 x 1 1/2 and a smaller piece at 3 x 1 inches. Next, cut another piece of crisp cantaloupe cardstock at 2 x 4 inches…use the scalloped tag topper on one end and tear a bit of the paper off on the other end. Add a bit of your favorite ribbon to the tag top and tie some linen thread around it. Stamp the fox image from the Hey Valentine set on a piece of white cardstock, punch it out with the note tag punch and color it with your markers or blendabilities.
For the treat box, simply grab one of the boxes from that pack of 25 that you have and emboss it with the Happy Hearts embossing folder. Yes, the boxes fit perfectly in the embossing folder because they come flat in the pack (put the box together after you emboss it). Then simply decorate the box with some of the designer paper you have or, in this case, I added a bit of Stacked with Love washi tape. Embellish it with a bit of ribbon and a tag! Then just enjoy!
