Ornamental Pine

ornamental pineWell Christmas is almost here!  Are you excited?  I sure am!  I can’t wait to spend the day with my family…especially my little grandbaby 🙂  Since Christmas is almost here, this is the last Christmas card design I will share with all of you this year. But don’t worry…I have so many projects to share with you in the new year and I know you won’t be disappointed!

So let’s talk about this particular project.  The ornament pine stamp set was really my “go to” set for this holiday season!  As I shared with you the other day, I just love nature images so I was definitely drawn to this particular set.  To make this card, start with a piece of cherry cobbler cardstock for the base of the card. Cut a 4 x 4 piece of chocolate chip cardstock and emboss the pine branch image using white embossing powder. Next, emboss the ornament just under the branch using cherry cobbler embossing powder. Cut a 4 x 1 inch strip of silver glimmer paper and punch out some scalloped dot ribbon (yes, there is a punch for that). Secure the silver scallops behind the brown cardstock using glue dots. Emboss the “Christmas Wishes” sentiment on the lower right hand corner of the cherry cobbler card base using white embossing powder. For the finishing touch, add a little rhinestone to the ornament. Optional: You can also spritz the entire card with a bit of champagne glimmer/glitter spray. Enjoy!
