Sorry for the delay in posting! It has been such an exciting week…full of birthday parties, babysitting the grandbaby and crafting classes! Whew! So since I finally have a few moments, I thought I would change it up a bit today and share a few more projects created with the new blendabilities markers. I have seen some simply beautiful creations with these markers and the more I play with them, the more I love them! These particular projects were shared at my August blendabilities class. The projects showcase the beautiful Blended Bloom stamp set as well as the Kinda Eclectic set. Now the flower (Blended Bloom) is where you will actually use the new blendabilties. The project above showcases the daffodil delight blendabilities set and the project pictured on the right showcases the Pumpkin Pie blendabilities. As you can see in both pictures, there is quite a bit of shading and contrast in each of the blended blooms. This gives depth and dimension to each of the flowers. You are able to achieve this look by shading and blending with the three different colors of markers found in each blendabilities set. So for example, you can see the 3 different shades of yellow very distinctly in the first picture. I typically start with the darker shades and then blend with the lighter…but there is no right or wrong way to blend. To really experience the fun of working with the blendabilities markers you need to try them out for yourself! Enjoy!
