Did you know that Christmas is exactly 7 weeks away! Yikes! And I have so much to do yet! Like…finish up my Christmas cards! This particular Christmas card was one that we made at my stamp a stack last month and it seemed to be everyone’s favorite! It showcases some elegant holiday products and non-traditional Christmas colors. Let me give you some instructions on how to make this.
Start with a piece of whisper white cardstock for the base of your card. Emboss the front of the cardstock using the filigree frame textured embossing folder. Cut a 5 1/4 x 1 1/2 inch piece of the beautiful blue patterned paper in the All is Calm Designer Series Paper Pack. Cut a 5 1/4 x 3/4 inch piece of silver glimmer paper. Adhere these pieces to the left side of the card as shown.
Grab another piece of whisper white cardstock. Stamp the Wintertime image on the cardstock using lost lagoon ink and then cut it out with one of the oval framelits. Now you if you want to keep the “happy winter” sentiment, then your card is complete (see Wintertime stamped image below)! However, if you want to change out the happy winter sentiment for something else, then simply follow these instructions: Cut a 3 1/4 x 1 1/8 inch piece of lost lagoon cardstock to make a small banner (this piece covers up the “Happy Winter” sentiment so that you just see the beautiful scrollwork from the image). Punch out a 7/8 inch scalloped circle from glimmer paper. Stamp your favorite Christmas sentiment and punch it out with the modern label punch. Adhere all of these piece to the center of your card (over the top of the Happy Winter sentiment). For the finishing touch, add a few rhinestones. Enjoy!
