The NEW Stampin’ Up! Holiday catalog is here! And it’s fabulous…as always! The catalog goes live today so I wanted to give you a sneak peek of one of the projects I will be sharing at my new catalog open house! This project is made with the new “For all things” stamp set…my favorite fall-themed set in the new caddy.
I decided to showcase the 2014-2016 In Colors on this particular card. These new colors are perfect for fall-themed projects as they are deep shades of yellow, orange, purple, green and blue (the blue is the only color I didn’t use on this card). 🙂 To make this card, start with a piece of soft suede cardstock for the base. Cut a 5 1/4 x 4 inch piece of mossy meadow (green) cardstock and a 5 x 3 3/4 inch piece of whisper white. Randomly stamp the leaf image onto the left side of the card. Stamp the smaller leaf image, in green, over the top of the of the other images…I stamped it twice without re-inking it (that’s how you get the lighter colored image). Stamp a few acorns and hand cut them out. For the finishing touches, add a bit of gold baker’s twine…I pulled out a few of the gold strand and secured them behind the acorns as accents before I added the baker’s twine bow. Super simple and fun little project!
