Here is project #2 in the Sale-a-bration Heartfelt Banner kit series. Each project showcased in this series was created with various pieces of the Heartfelt Banner kit. The kit was designed to create a super cute little banner; however, in this series you will learn how to create a variety of different projects using the materials found in just one kit!
To make this project, I started out with a piece of old olive cardstock. Cut a 5 1/4 x 4 inch piece of crumb cake cardstock. Cut a 2 x 4 inch piece of your favorite designer paper…make sure it has a bit of green in it. I used the Afternoon Picnic Designer Paper because of the beautiful roses. Secure this piece to the top part of the crumb cake cardstock. Grab one of the paper doilies, the green polka dot pennant and a burlap piece from the heartfelt banner kit. Cut the paper doily in half and secure it behind the polka dot pennant and then secure it to the left side of the card as shown. Stamp a little sentiment on the lower right hand side of the crumb cake cardstock using early espresso ink. Add a bit of delicate lace tape to the burlap piece….you will need to trim the burlap piece a bit before layering it on the card. Tie a bit of ribbon around the top of the card to cover up the spot where all of the piece meet! Then just stamp a little butterfly to embellish! Voila! Super cute and simple!
