A Washi Christmas

Of course all of you know that the Stampin’ Up! Holiday Catalog went live yesterday….WOO HOO!!  Love this catalog…but then again, what catalog have I not loved?!? lol  The products are just simply amazing!  And I have been busy messin’ around with them so I will definitely be sharing all of my creations with you!

This holiday catalog creation was inspired by the Gingham Garden washi tape card I put together a few weeks back.  Except, of course, I used the new Seasons of Style Washi tape from the holiday catalog!  If you haven’t played around with washi tape, you must get your hands on some soon! 🙂  It’s so easy to use and you can even peel it off (slowly) your projects if you don’t like it!  The center piece of this card is simply a variety of shapes punched out of different colored cardstock:  Crumb cake and Gumball GreenThe sentiment comes from the Tags 4 You stamp set which has a coordinating punch that you can purchase as a bundle!  The bundles are awesome because you save 15% when you purchase the bundles!

Once I layered all of the shapes and stamped the sentiment, I embellished the card a bit with a few rhinestones! Oh…I almost forgot…I did a bit of paper piercing on the scalloped circle before I layered it. Very clean and simple design!  I hope you enjoyed it!
