So Sorry

I have been busy designing all of the cards and projects for my upcoming classes during the month of May!  Since Stampin’ Up! will be retiring soooo many products on May 31st, I decided to give some of those retiring products one last hurrah at my classes this month. 🙂

For this card, I decided to focus on the retiring colors and designer series paper (DSP): Riding Hood Red and the Twitterpated DSP.  I started out by stamping the field flowers leaf image on a 5 x 3 3/4 inch piece of whisper white cardstock. After stamping the image, I embossed the bottom section of the whisper white cardstock using the needlepoint border textured impressions embossing folder.  I really like this little embossing folder because you can position it to emboss a small little image across any section of your paper.  It comes with 2 different folders but the scalloped image seems to be my favorite.

I cut a small piece of twitterpated DSP, about 3/4 inch by 3 3/4 and secured it just above the embossed image before I stamped the “So Sorry” sentiment on the card. Then I simply embellished the card with some ribbon, pearls and a few  flowers I dabbed with a bit of riding hood red ink.

All of the designer series paper and some of the cardstock colors will be retiring after May 31st! This means these items will no longer be available for purchase after May! You can check out all of the retiring products here. Get ’em before they are gone forever!
