Petite Pairs ~ Sympathy Card

I designed this card as a swap for the quarterly get-together I had in April with my downline!  As I showcased yesterday, members of my downline team made some beautiful cards to swap with each other!  I participated in the swap but not the contest…I don’t want to win my own prizes! Haha!

I had been wanting to use the little needle point textured impressions embossing folder for quite some time so I was excited to finally come up with a card design to use it on! There are 2 needlepoint embossing folders…I like the scalloped one the best (which is what I used on the bottom of this card).   I decided to use my “Best of Flowers” stamp set for this card. I stamped the rose flower image with So Saffron (yellow) onto a piece of white cardstock then cut it out with one of the apothecary accent framelits. I stamped one of the petite pairs sentiments, in blue, directly over the top of the yellow roses. Then I did a bit of heat embossing with the rose image on the left side of the card using clear embossing powder. The final touches to the card come from adding a few scrap pieces of designer paper and the beautiful builder brads!
