Well I have been under the weather for the past few days…there is nothing worse that the spring flu! Ugh! Since I am starting to feel a bit better I thought I would take a moment to do some blogging. 🙂 I have several more artisan embellishment projects to share with you so I need to stay on track!
I designed this card using the Hearts A Flutter stamp set and, of course, items from the artisan embellishment kit. The brownish colored hearts on the card actually came from the artisan embellishment kit…all of the ribbon and lace were wrapped around he bottom part of it. It makes a beautiful eye-catching piece on any project! Once I took all of the lace off, I decided to cover the bottom part of the brown heart piece with a bit of Tea for Two designer paper and some lacy pink ribbon. The pink and yellow designs sticking out from the side, as well as the large heart in the middle, were stamped with the Hearts a flutter set. The thank you sentiment comes from the itty bitty banner set and works perfectly with the hearts a flutter set! You are able to make 2 cards, in this style, with items from the artisan embellishment kit!
