Love is in the air…which is more than I can say about spring here in Wisconsin! Haha 🙂 I have been designing a variety of wedding cards in preparation for some upcoming events I will be attending. I really like the last wedding card I designed in black and white so I stuck with it for this one as well.Â
Love & Laughter is such a beautiful stamp set for weddings! I have designed a few wedding cards and scrapbook pages with this set…including my daughter’s invitations for her wedding last year!Â
For this card, I used two different Stampin’ Up! stamp sets…Love & Laughter (for the wedding dress) and Sweet Essentials (for the bride & groom sentiment). The card has 3 different layers…the base of the card is a piece of whisper white cardstock scored and folded to achieve a card size of 5 1/2 x 4 1/4. The black layer is 5 1/4 x 4 and the top white layer is 5 x 3 3/4. Stamp your sentiment on the top right of this piece of white cardstock. Using one of the oval framelits, cut out a section of the 5 x 3 3/4 piece of white cardstock and then emboss it with the elegant lines embossing folder. I stamped the wedding dress in stazon back ink and then cut it out by hand. I secured the dress to the card with a few dimensionals or pop dots (as some people fondly call them).…it gives your image a bit of lift and dimension to your card. Then just embellish it with lots of bling!
